To get you in the mood for Halloween, Gulbenkian is screening an abundant selection of spooky treats! Mixing horror classics with a terrifying new release, come along to Gulbenkian's shocktastic build up to Halloween.

 

On Friday 27 October, Gulbenkian is screening a special 30th anniversary release of Clive Barker's iconic directorial debut Hellraiser. Witness the film that launched a hit franchise and created one of cinema's most formidable figures of Pinhead once more on the big screen. Now 30 years on, this horror classic will still have you on the edge of your seat as we come head-to-head with the Cenobites once again?

 

Come along in your finest Halloween fancy dress and Potter gear for a Halloween special screening of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The fan favourite of the series will be shown in the Gulbenkian theatre, giving you the chance to show your children the franchise that defined a generation once more on the big screen.

 

See the iconic horror film Psycho, on Saturday 28 October, in a drive-in cinema setting. Be transported back to the 1960s, the hey-day of drive-in cinema, and see Alfred Hitchcock's horror classic right at home on the huge outdoor screen. The disturbed Norman Bates will terrify a new wave of audience.

 

Then on Tuesday 31 October, the night of Halloween, we will screen the creepy clown instant hit, IT. Not for the faint hearted but perfect to hunker down and watch on the spookiest night of the year! Come along to IT with half price tickets for students and under 25s as part of the weekly Two for Tuesday deal at Gulbenkian. 

 

Hellraiser: 30th Anniversary edition will be screened at Gulbenkian on Friday 27 October. Tickets: ?8.70 / Gulbcard ?6.70 / Senior ?7.70 / Student & Under 25s ?6.00. This screening is suitable for ages 18+.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets will be screened at Gulbenkian on Saturday 28 October. Tickets: Standard, Child, Student ?3.00 / Baby on Lap (0 -18 months) ?1. This film is rated PG.

Drive-in Movie: Psycho will be screened at Gulbenkian on Saturday 28 October. Tickets: Car (recommend 4 people per car; max. 6 people per car) ?25 (limited number of early bird tickets at ?20) / Deck chairs ?10. This screening is suitable for ages 15+.

IT will be screened at Gulbenkian on Tuesday 31 October. Tickets: ?8.70 / Gulbcard ?6.70 / Senior ?7.70 / Student & Under 25s ?6/ Two for Ruesday Student & Under 25s ?3. This screening is suitable for ages 15+.
