FORTHCOMING GUESTS:

NOVEMBER 7TH - MARTYN WYNDHAM-READ with Iris Bishop
(http://dandadesign.co.uk/about/)

Martyn, who will be performing with Iris Bishop (Concertinas & Accordion), has been a stalwart of the folk scene since the 1970's.  Most of his music comes from Australia, where he lived in the 1960's (working on a South Australian sheep station) and has since re-visited many times.  He is an engaging performer with a fine voice, combining songs, recitations, stories and anecdotes of outback life.

NOVEMBER 14TH - GIGSPANNER
(http://gigspanner.com/)

Led by Steeleye Span's legendary fiddle player Peter Knight, the trio Gigspanner have been critically acclaimed for both their live playing and recordings since first coming together in 2008.  Peter's virtuosity is ably matched by the sensitive and flawless playing of Roger Flack (guitar) and Vincent Salzfaas (percussion).  Together their music is wide ranging, drawing from a variety of cultural influences as well as traditional folk and their improvisation gives a freshness and immediacy to their act.

NOVEMBER 21ST - NINEBARROW
(http://www.ninebarrow.co.uk/)

Ninebarrow is an award-winning folk duo, who have been impressing audiences with their breath-taking vocal harmonies and musicianship.  Jon Whitley and Jay LaBouchardiere have an innovative take on the folk tradition, delivering both well-crafted original songs and a wide-range of traditional songs reworked in their own distinctive way.  They have supported the likes Kate Rusby, Seth Lakeman and Show of Hands and in 2017 were nominated for the BBC Radio 2 ?Horizon' Award.

NOVEMBER 28TH - KEITH DONNELLY
(http://keithdonnelly.com/)

Keith's performances have a tendency to lean towards the original, the off-the-wall, and the out of the ordinary.  He describes himself as: a "teller of short tall tales and long short stories", a "surreal snigger-songwriter, guitar-hero and performance-artist", a "stand-up comic and fall-down comedian" and an "all-round good egg" (and much more besides!).  It should be an entertaining evening - come and see for yourself!
