Subject: London Fiddle Convention

Hi Everyone. The next London Fiddle Convention will be on Sunday 25^th February 2018.

This year we have

- -Scottish fiddler Iain Fraser, former principal fiddle teacher at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland

- -Old time/Cajun fiddler Jock Tyldesley (best known for his work with Flatville Aces and New Rope String Band)

- -Tom Moore- BBC award winning English fiddler

- -Dr Cahn Dacan, master of the Erhu- the beautiful and haunting long- necked Chinese fiddle

- -Gundula Gruen- expert in gypsy and Balkan fiddling

- -Pete Cooper- London?s best fiddle teacher, recently featured on the Shirley Collins tour

- -Chris Haigh, whose tenth fiddle book ?Beginning Jazz Violin? is approaching publication.

For the first time, tickets will be available in advance and online from www.cecilsharphouse.org; they will also as usual be available at the door, on the day.
