Are you interested in song collecting and discovering more about the songs of the Irish Traveller community? Experienced song collectors Sam Lee and James McDonald will be leading a training field trip around Ireland in early 2018. The week-long trip will involve meeting with some of the many singers previously recorded, discovering new singers, and perhaps even recording songs and stories not yet heard. There will also be time spent on the repatriation of recordings published on our website.
