Hello! In case you've missed the news, we
thought you might like to know about our upcoming event 'Feast of Fools' on 3rd
February. Here are the details:

An evening of folly and revelry to lift the dark days of February.
In honour of National Storytelling Week, BASH
presents a programme of tall tales, foolish entertainments and topsy-turvy food
inspired by the winter celebrations of Roman Saturnalia, Carnival and the
Medieval Feast of Fools. The evening will feature stories from Dave Tonge,
the Yarnsmith
of Norwich and Tony Cooper, the Sandwich
King of Fools, ?The Mother of All Mummers? performed by The
Canterbury Hoodeners and atmospheric live music. A three-course supper* is
included in the ticket price and there will be a licensed bar serving
locally-sourced ales, wine and soft drinks.
Guests
are invited to dress for the occasion in motley or foolish clothing.
Tickets cost ?20 and are available for advance
booking only. You can purchase tickets online through Brown Paper Tickets,
or in person (with cash or cheque, payable to ?BASH?) from Balloons R Us, King
Street, Sandwich.
*Please
note any dietary requirements (including vegetarian and vegan preferences) when
