Dear all
I meant 20th Jan, of course. Can't think how I could have got that
wrong (in too much of a hurry, as always, I suppose).
Also, if you're coming on Saturday, especially if you're driving,
it might be wise to allow a little extra time for the journey. TfL says that,
because of the Lumiere London festival, some tube stations may be busier than
usual. King's Cross is one of those, along with Oxford Circus, Piccadilly
Circus, Holborn and Covent Garden.

(18th January)
Unfortunately, Gail Williams and Jim Younger, who were due to be
at the club this Saturday (18th January), have cancelled because Gail is ill.
This has happened at very short notice. Instead, our guest will be Robin
Gillan, an excellent singer and musician who performs a variety of material on
fiddle, banjo and guitar (CHECK), and is best known for
his renditions of American old-timey songs. Robin did a great night for us just
over a year ago.
The rest of our programme up to 9th June remains as before (see www.cellarupstairs.org.uk).
I hope we will see many of you on Saturday night (at the Calthorpe
Arms, 252 Gray's Inn Rd, WC1X 8JR; info on my answer-phone, 020 7281 7700, if
Virgin has got around to repairing the line in time - they didn't when the same
thing happened last week).
All the best
Sheila
