These awards aim to put a much-deserved spotlight on some incredibly talented artists from around the world.

Encounters Festival

 

Tickets are now on sale for the eighth Songlines Encounters Festival, which will be the most ambitious yet.

This year's line-up includes 3MA, Anda Union, Frigg, Maya Youssef, Soumik Datta, and Jyotsna Srikanth.


With an unprecedented global spread, we have musicians, instruments and voices from Mali, Morocco, Madagascar, Mongolia, Syria, Finland, India and, of course, the UK. There's a Finnish Friday, Syrian Saturday and Indian Sunday. There are workshops and films too!
