For over a
decade we've been the Official Ticketing Partner of the Oxjam Music
Festival - an annual month-long celebration of local and grassroots
music around the UK that raises funds to help beat poverty.
As this year's festival approaches, Oxfam are looking
for music lovers and event organisers who would like to put on a gig
in their town. Their simple, six step guide ensures it's easy and
gives you valuable support as you gain experience of running events

Greenwich Comedy Festival

Possibly
our favourite event of the year - top 5, for sure! - The Greenwich
Comedy Festival returns for 2018 in just a couple of weeks.
Taking place at The National Maritime Museum, you'll be able to
catch some top comedians as well as enjoy delicious street food. On
the bill are the likes of Rob Delaney, Adam Buxton, Aisling Bea,
Nina Conti, Russell Howard and James Acaster.
Tickets are sold on a per-show basis, with some already sold out,
so have a

favourite comics at this wonderful festival.

Every
October the Scottish Parliament in Holyrood is taken over by the
Festival of Politics - a series of talks, discussions and political
debate on a wide range of subjects, this year set to include the NHS
and Brexit. The 2018 headline acts are Rt Hon Lord Michael Heseltine,
Dame Margaret Hodge MP, Ben Okri, Darren McGarvey aka
Loki, Professor Mary Beard and Sir Tom Devine OBE.
With tickets priced around just ?6 to ?8 for each event, some are
already close to selling out. Don't miss this chance to hear some of
the country's brightest political minds speak - see the

when even more events go on sale, including film screenings.

they don't come any better than The 100 Club - the legendary, world
famous London venue that helped launch the punk movement in the late
1970s, and still hosts amazing live music and comedy almost every
night.
