2000_05_24: So where were you all for the Kent Guitar Festival's "Local Heroes" concert ? -

John Pearson could not be there, but Jack Pound, Kenny Craddock and excellent last minute stand in Roger Hubbard deserved far more than the three row audience that turned up.

Jack Pound premiered a song about the exploits of the Johnson sisters, and there were also some great traditional pieces, including "Come along in my kitch'n" from Roger Hubbard.

If you want to hear at least some of what you missed, try Jack Pound's CD : "low profile" (01303 262 052) - some rather unusual songs.
