KentFolk Add Event to Google/Facebook Calendar.

For Musicians, Groups, Bands, Venues, Event Organisers :

This page tells you how to create an event on the KentFolk Google/Facebook event Calendar.
It is hoped it will soon actually help you build the event listing and do lots of other things that you need, without having to re-enter the gig details repeatedly.

Currently I am afraid you have to be a Facebook user to enter an event on this calendar.
- Hopefully this will change shortly.

Firstly, the very first time you wish to use this service, (and this is the only bit where you need an interaction from me)
Befriend on Facebook, if you are not already : Beau Webber AND Cal KentFolk. That way I get immediate notification (if I am around) that you are waiting.
TEMPORARY : Don't worry about Cal KentFolk for the moment, I have problems there. Inviting me is sufficient, then do as below :
Then go to your Home page on Facebook, and you should have an Events link on the left of your page - click on this.
or go to your Timeline page on Facebook, and you should have an Events tab or a More tab that expands to show an Events link - click on this.
Click on "+Create Event" - Building your event in Facebook is slightly more arcane that it should be, but not too difficult for a simple event.
However there is no way I know to do something like build a repeating event on a last Sunday - that is where I hope the tool I am building will help.
Wait a few hours and your event should be on www.kentfolk.com/facebook-event-calendar.html

Please limit your events to musical ones, or ones that have a significant musical content (i.e. a play or a music quiz).
You will be un-befriended if you missuse this calendar.
