This Saturday we host two events! Our 'Jazz & Pies'
afternoon session and the amazing Theo Bard Band in the evening!
Saturday
9th May
Theo Bard Band
Music from
8:30pm
FREE ENTRY
Theo has been known to captivate in previous solo performances at
The Lighthouse. Now its time for him to be joined by his new band
(which features James Hatton on drums and Billy Glinn on bass) to
flesh-out his timeless compositions into a fresh Saturday night
sound.
Old folk hits a new groove as three troubadours collide in a rich
harmony; with songs that speak and voices that ring. Home is their
?Woodburner' nights deep in Hackney's underground, but it's a sound
that resonates far beyond.
Jazz & Pies

Saturday welcomes back the monthly ?Jazz & Pies' afternoon
session, consisting of The Lighthouse house band featuring bass,
drums and keys. Horn players, singers and guitarists are welcome to

become a popular date in The Lighthouse calendar. A pie meal plus a
pint of cask ale or small glass of house wine can be purchased for
?10.

Friday 8th May
The
Flowing // The Dredgermen
Pub open
from 5pm // Music from 8:30pm
FREE ENTRY
Friday's evening session will feature two Medway based bands!
Combining powerful songwriting and orchestral accompaniment, The
Flowing offer poignant folk sounds from the Medway towns. Entwining
timeless tradition with the transient present, they captivate with
a cascading ensemble of strings, horns and voices.
Support on the night will come from The Dredgermen. Formed in 2014,
their sea shanties and war song hark back to a simpler time, but
are delivered with a sweet sincerity underlined with a darker edge
much akin to an ale soaked Simon and Garfunkel.
