Sunday 24th May
'Engines
& Guitars' - Classic Car Show Day feat. The Remains Of Johnny
Cash (4pm) // Dan Korn & The Choppy Waters (7pm)
Pub open
from 12pm // Music from 4pm
FREE
ENTRY
On Sunday, The Lighthouse will mark the classic car show on Walmer
Green (opposite the pub) with an extended day of music.
At 4pm, The
Remains Of Johnny Cash will take to the stage.
The band strives to capture the spirit, energy and danger of the
60?s era recordings like ?Live at Folsom Prison'. The band has
gained a large local following at their often-chaotic shows.
The music will continue at 7pm with a performance from Dan Korn & The
Choppy Waters.
Singer-songwriter Dan Korn and his band weave enchanting melodies
around exquisitely crafted lyrics. It's a sound that is rooted in
the folk traditions of sea-faring tales, but with a refreshing
contemporary approach.
