Friday 26th June
Benjamin
Folke Thomas
Pub open
from 5pm // Music from 8:30pm
FREE ENTRY
This will be a rare chance to catch Ben as he is currently on tour,
a considerable number of miles away from his native home of Sweden.
Last time he played The Lighthouse, he had his band in tow. This
time Ben will join us for a solo show, which promises to be equally
as engaging.
His acoustic guitar skills are astonishing, while his songs reveal
depths of emotion and stories from a young life that has been lived
hard. His uniquely engaging stage presence displays the kind of
humour sadly missing in the work of so many introspective
singer-songwriters.
Since his last UK tour, Ben's popularity has grown, due to some
remarkable performances, including a slot at last year's
prestigious Cropredy festival. He has also just celebrated the
release of his acclaimed second album ?Rogue State Of Mind'.

Sunday 28th June
'Sunday
Service' feat. Sendelica
Pub open
from 12pm // Music from 4pm
FREE
ENTRY
Sendelica
This West Wales based group will take the audience on a ride
through psychedelia and space rock textures. This mightily
prolific outfit deftly moves from ambient soundscapes to driving
rock riffs and rhythms. Their line-up combines guitars, drums, saxophone
and a selection of electronics, which happens to include a
theramin!
Sendelica's music has been described as blending "the hypnotic
pulse of Can, the impressionistic atmospherics of Pink Floyd, the
motorized proto-punk of Neu, the space patrolling guitar
pyrotechnics of Jimi Hendrix and the otherworldly ambiences of The
Orb."
Plus ?. We are pleased to
announce the inclusion of the Reggae Roast! Delicious
tastes of the Caribbean mixed with the traditional English roast
dinner, at an incredible price of ?7.50! Chef Tyrone will be
serving you from 12pm. Relax and eat while enjoying some reggae
tunes at a volume that is proven to aid digestion and stimulate
taste buds.
This is to be a regular fixture as part of our
weekly ?Sunday Service'. Leave the cooking to Tyrone and join us
here!
Due to
popular demand, booking a table is very much recommended.
