Kent Folk - Open Stages

There are now a range of open stage / open mic. events in Kent, in a number of venues on different days of the week. New musicians are very welcome. CJ now runs quite a number of them - get her to sing herself - no longer just a drummer, she has developed a lovely voice.

A small stage with a very welcoming & supportive audience. So many extremely talented musicians turn up & play - but beginners welcome too. Every Thursday:
The Waterman's Arms acoustic open mic night runs on every Thursday of the month at the Waterman's Arms, 151 High Street, Wouldham, Rochester, Kent. ME1 3TY, 9:00pm - 11:00pm. All players and standards welcome. Guitarists, percussionists, banjo players etc. All genre very welcome.

First Thursday of the month:
The Two Brewers Acoustic Music night runs on the first Thursday of every month at the Two Brewers, 113 High Street, Rochester, ME1 1JS, 8.30pm onwards, hosted by Sally Ironmonger Trio. (www.sallyironmonger.co.uk). Open Mic Night, PA provided.

Performers please turn up on the night to book a slot usually 3 numbers singer song writers or unusual covers are welcomed. Cosy cafe venue for this laid back open mic, guests are encouraged to collaborate its all about the music we have a great PA and dedicated acoustic guitar amps plus often a keyboard and friendly audience we will get you a slot that suits you and get your sound right.
